Ash-Shu'ara (26)

وَٱجْعَل لِّى لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ 84❚
وَٱجْعَلْنِى مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ 85❚
وَٱغْفِرْ لِأَبِىٓ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ 86❚
وَلَا تُخْزِنِى يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ 87❚
يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَ 88❚
إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى ٱللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ 89❚
وَأُزْلِفَتِ ٱلْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ 90❚
وَبُرِّزَتِ ٱلْجَحِيمُ لِلْغَاوِينَ 91❚
وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ 92❚
مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ هَلْ يَنصُرُونَكُمْ أَوْ يَنتَصِرُونَ 93❚
فَكُبْكِبُوا۟ فِيهَا هُمْ وَٱلْغَاوُۥنَ 94❚
وَجُنُودُ إِبْلِيسَ أَجْمَعُونَ 95❚
قَالُوا۟ وَهُمْ فِيهَا يَخْتَصِمُونَ 96❚
تَٱللَّهِ إِن كُنَّا لَفِى ضَلَـٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ 97❚
إِذْ نُسَوِّيكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ 98❚
وَمَآ أَضَلَّنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ 99❚
فَمَا لَنَا مِن شَـٰفِعِينَ 100❚
وَلَا صَدِيقٍ حَمِيمٍ 101❚
فَلَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ 102❚
إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ 103❚
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ 104❚
كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ 105❚
إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ نُوحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ 106❚
إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ 107❚
فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ 108❚
وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ 109❚
فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ 110❚
۞ قَالُوٓا۟ أَنُؤْمِنُ لَكَ وَٱتَّبَعَكَ ٱلْأَرْذَلُونَ 111❚
وَٱجْعَل لِّى لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ
give me a good name among later generations;

وَٱجْعَلْنِى مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
make me one of those given the Garden of Bliss-

وَٱغْفِرْ لِأَبِىٓ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ
forgive my father, for he is one of those who have gone astray-

وَلَا تُخْزِنِى يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ
and do not disgrace me on the Day when all people are resurrected:

يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَ
the Day when neither wealth nor children can help,
Ash-Shu'ara
- Verse 88

إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى ٱللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ
when the only one who will be saved is the one who comes before God with a heart devoted to Him.’

وَأُزْلِفَتِ ٱلْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
When the Garden is brought near to the righteous

وَبُرِّزَتِ ٱلْجَحِيمُ لِلْغَاوِينَ
and the Fire is placed in full view of the misguided,
Ash-Shu'ara
- Verse 91

وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ
it will be said to them, ‘Where are those you worshipped
Ash-Shu'ara
- Verse 92

مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ هَلْ يَنصُرُونَكُمْ أَوْ يَنتَصِرُونَ
beside God? Can they help you now, or even help themselves?’

- Verse 93

فَكُبْكِبُوا۟ فِيهَا هُمْ وَٱلْغَاوُۥنَ
and then they will all be hurled into Hell, together with those that misled them,

- Verse 94

وَجُنُودُ إِبْلِيسَ أَجْمَعُونَ
and all Iblis’s supporters.

قَالُوا۟ وَهُمْ فِيهَا يَخْتَصِمُونَ
There they will say to their gods, as they bicker among themselves,

تَٱللَّهِ إِن كُنَّا لَفِى ضَلَـٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
‘We were clearly misguided
Ash-Shu'ara
- Verse 97

Hizb 8/1
إِذْ نُسَوِّيكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
when we made you equal with the Lord of the Worlds.
Ash-Shu'ara
- Verse 98

Hizb 8/1
وَمَآ أَضَلَّنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
It was the evildoers who led us astray,
Ash-Shu'ara
- Verse 99

Hizb 8/1
فَمَا لَنَا مِن شَـٰفِعِينَ
and now we have no intercessor
Ash-Shu'ara
- Verse 100

Hizb 8/1
فَلَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
If only we could live our lives again, we would be true believers!’

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
There truly is a sign in this, though most of them do not believe:

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
your Lord alone is the Almighty, the Merciful.

كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
The people of Noah, too, called the messengers liars.

- Verse 105

إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ نُوحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
Their brother Noah said to them, ‘Will you not be mindful of God?

- Verse 106

Hizb 8/1
إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ
I am a faithful messenger sent to you:
Ash-Shu'ara
- Verse 107

فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
be mindful of God and obey me.
Ash-Shu'ara
- Verse 108
Juz 21
Hizb 8/1
وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
I ask no reward of you, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Worlds:

فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
be mindful of God and obey me.’

- Verse 110

۞ قَالُوٓا۟ أَنُؤْمِنُ لَكَ وَٱتَّبَعَكَ ٱلْأَرْذَلُونَ
They answered, ‘Why should we believe you when the worst sort of people follow you?’
