Ash-Shu'ara (26)

فَلَمَّا تَرَٰٓءَا ٱلْجَمْعَانِ قَالَ أَصْحَـٰبُ مُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّا لَمُدْرَكُونَ 61❚
قَالَ كَلَّآ ۖ إِنَّ مَعِىَ رَبِّى سَيَهْدِينِ 62❚
فَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنِ ٱضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ ٱلْبَحْرَ ۖ فَٱنفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرْقٍ كَٱلطَّوْدِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ 63❚
وَأَزْلَفْنَا ثَمَّ ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ 64❚
وَأَنجَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥٓ أَجْمَعِينَ 65❚
ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ 66❚
إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ 67❚
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ 68❚
وَٱتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ 69❚
إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِۦ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ 70❚
قَالُوا۟ نَعْبُدُ أَصْنَامًا فَنَظَلُّ لَهَا عَـٰكِفِينَ 71❚
قَالَ هَلْ يَسْمَعُونَكُمْ إِذْ تَدْعُونَ 72❚
أَوْ يَنفَعُونَكُمْ أَوْ يَضُرُّونَ 73❚
قَالُوا۟ بَلْ وَجَدْنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا كَذَٰلِكَ يَفْعَلُونَ 74❚
قَالَ أَفَرَءَيْتُم مَّا كُنتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ 75❚
أَنتُمْ وَءَابَآؤُكُمُ ٱلْأَقْدَمُونَ 76❚
فَإِنَّهُمْ عَدُوٌّ لِّىٓ إِلَّا رَبَّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ 77❚
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَنِى فَهُوَ يَهْدِينِ 78❚
وَٱلَّذِى هُوَ يُطْعِمُنِى وَيَسْقِينِ 79❚
وَإِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِينِ 80❚
وَٱلَّذِى يُمِيتُنِى ثُمَّ يُحْيِينِ 81❚
وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَطْمَعُ أَن يَغْفِرَ لِى خَطِيٓـَٔتِى يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ 82❚
رَبِّ هَبْ لِى حُكْمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِى بِٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ 83❚
فَلَمَّا تَرَٰٓءَا ٱلْجَمْعَانِ قَالَ أَصْحَـٰبُ مُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّا لَمُدْرَكُونَ
and as soon as the two sides came within sight of one another, Moses’ followers said, ‘We shall definitely be caught.’
Ash-Shu'ara
- Verse 61

Hizb 8/1
قَالَ كَلَّآ ۖ إِنَّ مَعِىَ رَبِّى سَيَهْدِينِ
Moses said, ‘No, my Lord is with me: He will guide me,’

- Verse 62

فَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنِ ٱضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ ٱلْبَحْرَ ۖ فَٱنفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرْقٍ كَٱلطَّوْدِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
and We revealed to Moses: ‘Strike the sea with your staff.’ It parted- each side like a mighty mountain-

وَأَزْلَفْنَا ثَمَّ ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ
and We brought the others to that place:

- Verse 64

وَأَنجَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥٓ أَجْمَعِينَ
We saved Moses and all his companions,
Ash-Shu'ara
- Verse 65

ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ
and drowned the rest.

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
There truly is a sign in this, though most of them do not believe:

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
your Lord alone is the Almighty, the Merciful.

وَٱتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
Tell them the story of Abraham,

إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِۦ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ
when he asked his father and his people, ‘What do you worship?’
Ash-Shu'ara
- Verse 70

قَالُوا۟ نَعْبُدُ أَصْنَامًا فَنَظَلُّ لَهَا عَـٰكِفِينَ
They said, ‘We worship idols, and are constantly in attendance on them.’

قَالَ هَلْ يَسْمَعُونَكُمْ إِذْ تَدْعُونَ
He asked, ‘Do they hear you when you call?
Ash-Shu'ara
- Verse 72

أَوْ يَنفَعُونَكُمْ أَوْ يَضُرُّونَ
Do they help or harm you?’
Ash-Shu'ara
- Verse 73

قَالُوا۟ بَلْ وَجَدْنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا كَذَٰلِكَ يَفْعَلُونَ
They replied, ‘No, but this is what we saw our fathers doing.’
Ash-Shu'ara
- Verse 74

قَالَ أَفَرَءَيْتُم مَّا كُنتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ
Abraham said, ‘Those idols you have worshipped,

أَنتُمْ وَءَابَآؤُكُمُ ٱلْأَقْدَمُونَ
you and your forefathers,
Ash-Shu'ara
- Verse 76
Juz 21
Hizb 8/1
فَإِنَّهُمْ عَدُوٌّ لِّىٓ إِلَّا رَبَّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
are my enemies; not so the Lord of the Worlds,
Ash-Shu'ara
- Verse 77

Hizb 8/1
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَنِى فَهُوَ يَهْدِينِ
who created me. It is He who guides me;
Ash-Shu'ara
- Verse 78

Hizb 8/1
وَٱلَّذِى هُوَ يُطْعِمُنِى وَيَسْقِينِ
He who gives me food and drink;
Ash-Shu'ara
- Verse 79

Hizb 8/1
وَإِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِينِ
He who cures me when I am ill;
Ash-Shu'ara
- Verse 80

وَٱلَّذِى يُمِيتُنِى ثُمَّ يُحْيِينِ
He who will make me die and then give me life again;
Ash-Shu'ara
- Verse 81

Hizb 8/1
وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَطْمَعُ أَن يَغْفِرَ لِى خَطِيٓـَٔتِى يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ
and He who will, I hope, forgive my faults on the Day of Judgement.

رَبِّ هَبْ لِى حُكْمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِى بِٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
My Lord, grant me wisdom; join me with the righteous;
