Al-Haqqah (69)

فَلَيْسَ لَهُ ٱلْيَوْمَ هَـٰهُنَا حَمِيمٌ 35❚
وَلَا طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِنْ غِسْلِينٍ 36❚
لَّا يَأْكُلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلْخَـٰطِـُٔونَ 37❚
فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِمَا تُبْصِرُونَ 38❚
وَمَا لَا تُبْصِرُونَ 39❚
إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ 40❚
وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَاعِرٍ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَّا تُؤْمِنُونَ 41❚
وَلَا بِقَوْلِ كَاهِنٍ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ 42❚
تَنزِيلٌ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ 43❚
وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ ٱلْأَقَاوِيلِ 44❚
لَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُ بِٱلْيَمِينِ 45❚
ثُمَّ لَقَطَعْنَا مِنْهُ ٱلْوَتِينَ 46❚
فَمَا مِنكُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ عَنْهُ حَـٰجِزِينَ 47❚
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَتَذْكِرَةٌ لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ 48❚
وَإِنَّا لَنَعْلَمُ أَنَّ مِنكُم مُّكَذِّبِينَ 49❚
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَسْرَةٌ عَلَى ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ 50❚
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَقُّ ٱلْيَقِينِ 51❚
فَسَبِّحْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ 52❚
فَلَيْسَ لَهُ ٱلْيَوْمَ هَـٰهُنَا حَمِيمٌ
so today he has no real friend here,

وَلَا طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِنْ غِسْلِينٍ
and the only food he has is the filth

لَّا يَأْكُلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلْخَـٰطِـُٔونَ
that only sinners eat.’

فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِمَا تُبْصِرُونَ
So I swear by what you can see

إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ
this [Quran] is the speech of an honoured messenger,

- Verse 40

وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَاعِرٍ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَّا تُؤْمِنُونَ
not the words of a poet- how little you believe!-

- Verse 41

وَلَا بِقَوْلِ كَاهِنٍ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ
nor the words of a soothsayer- how little you reflect!

تَنزِيلٌ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
This [Quran] is a message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds:

- Verse 43

وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ ٱلْأَقَاوِيلِ
if [the Prophet] had attributed some fabrication to Us,

لَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُ بِٱلْيَمِينِ
We would certainly have seized his right hand
Al-Haqqah
- Verse 45

Hizb 8/1
ثُمَّ لَقَطَعْنَا مِنْهُ ٱلْوَتِينَ
and cut off his lifeblood,

- Verse 46

Hizb 8/1
فَمَا مِنكُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ عَنْهُ حَـٰجِزِينَ
and none of you could have defended him.

- Verse 47

Hizb 8/1
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَتَذْكِرَةٌ لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ
This [Quran] is a reminder for those who are aware of God.

وَإِنَّا لَنَعْلَمُ أَنَّ مِنكُم مُّكَذِّبِينَ
We know that some of you consider it to be lies-

- Verse 49

Hizb 8/1
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَسْرَةٌ عَلَى ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
this will be a source of bitter regret for the disbelievers-

- Verse 50

Hizb 8/1
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَقُّ ٱلْيَقِينِ
but it is in fact the certain Truth.

فَسَبِّحْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
So [Prophet] glorify the name of your Lord, the Almighty.
