Al-A'la (87)

سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلْأَعْلَى 1❚
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ 2❚
وَٱلَّذِى قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ 3❚
وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَخْرَجَ ٱلْمَرْعَىٰ 4❚
فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحْوَىٰ 5❚
سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ 6❚
إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ 7❚
وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ 8❚
فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ 9❚
سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰ 10❚
وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَشْقَى 11❚
ٱلَّذِى يَصْلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ 12❚
ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ 13❚
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ 14❚
وَذَكَرَ ٱسْمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ 15❚
سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلْأَعْلَى
[Prophet], glorify the name of your Lord the Most High,
Al-A'la
- Verse 1
Juz 30
Hizb 8/1
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ
who created [all things] in due proportion;
Al-A'la
- Verse 2
Juz 30
Hizb 8/1
وَٱلَّذِى قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ
who determined their destinies and guided them;

- Verse 3

Hizb 8/1
وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَخْرَجَ ٱلْمَرْعَىٰ
who brought out the green pasture
Al-A'la
- Verse 4

Hizb 8/1
سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ
[Prophet], We shall teach you [the Quran] and you will not forget––

- Verse 6

Hizb 8/1
إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ
unless God wishes; He knows both what is open and what is hidden––

- Verse 7

وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ
We shall show you the easy way.

- Verse 8

Hizb 8/1
فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ
So remind, if reminding will help.

- Verse 9

Hizb 8/1
سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰ
Those who stand in awe of God will heed the reminder,
Al-A'la
- Verse 10
Juz 30
Hizb 8/1
وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَشْقَى
but it will be ignored by the most wicked,
Al-A'la
- Verse 11
Juz 30
Hizb 8/1
ٱلَّذِى يَصْلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ
who will enter the Great Fire,
Al-A'la
- Verse 12
Juz 30
Hizb 8/1
ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ
where they will neither die nor live.

- Verse 13

Hizb 8/1
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ
Prosperous are those who purify themselves,

- Verse 14

وَذَكَرَ ٱسْمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ
remember the name of their Lord, and pray.
